General Support
When linguistic and cultural barriers create difficult situations, Latinx and immigrants need a trusted place to turn for support. For over 25 years our staff has provided the resources and a dedicated team to help families navigate any challenges, needs, and opportunities.
Peer Support
At Centro we believe our greatest strengths lie within each of us. Our certified peer support specialists rely on the empowerment of their lived experience to provide emotional support, share coping strategies, and create one-on-one interactions and facilitated group sessions where participants can learn from each other's journey with mental health challenges, substance use issues, or chronic illnesses.
Centro's bilingual Covering Wisconsin Affordable Care Act (ACA) Navigator is trained and to help consumers as they look for health coverage options through the Marketplace, and Badger Care, (Medicaid). Information provided by the navigator is unbiased and can include additional resources and programs that could be beneficial clients beyond the ACA such is Health Connect etc. The navigator is also able to help assess eligibility for coverage and can assist with the completion of enrollment forms.
